Songwriter's Demo Service and Custom Production

As a songwriter, producer and session player, Kevin Stonerock understands what it takes to produce and mix a solid publisher's demo. Over the years he has produced hundreds of demos for writers from all over the United States, Canada, England and Australia. Many of Kevin's demos have landed publishing deals for his clients and several have led to covers by other artists (of course, it all begins with a great song!). Satisfaction is guaranteed. All demos include a final mix on cd, and a mix of the band tracks. Options include Guitar and Vocal or a Full Band Mix, which consists of lead and rhythm guitars (or mandolin, depending on production needs), bass, drums and lead and harmony vocals. Styles include country, light rock/pop, gospel, and modern and traditional folk. Kevin is proficient on several instruments and as a general rule, provides all the vocals and instrument tracks. Turnaround time is usually 3-4 weeks. Female vocals are also available, but the turnaround time is usually a bit longer. Packages and options are as follows:

Guitar and One Vocal : $100

Full Band (see above): $200

Add piano: $50

Deluxe Demo (Includes steel guitar or fiddle, extra guitar parts, piano or keyboard, stacked harmony vocals): $450

Clients should send a cassette or cd containing their song, along with a lyric sheet, any special instructions, and a check or money order in the proper amount. Checks should be made payable to Kevin Stonerock, Two Moon Productions.

"Thanks for everything you do Kevin. You truly make great demos." -Ken Gomez, Michigan

"Your Demo Service was highly recommended
to me by Scotty Turner of Buried Treasure Music
in Nashville. To date, you have
done 10 demos for me. I am extremely pleased
with all of them. The quality of your demos is
unsurpassed --- anywhere. I have received many
favorable comments from music publishers and
producers on the quality of the demos you
have done for me. Please accept my sincere
gratitude for a job well done. Feel free to use
my name as a reference should you ever desire
to do so." -
Frank Colbert , Texas

"Kevin, you recorded my first demo back in 1995, (which received an "Honorable Mention" in a songwriting contest), that was a good start to many other good things to come, as you put life into more of my songs with your playing and producing skills.

In 2004, you helped me find a great co -writer, and have always been there when I need advice. You provide an honest, "Value Packed" service. Thanks for 11 years of encouragement, and friendship. Your pal, Carl Stremel Jr."
Alabama

Features:

Personalized Service: There is no "one size fits all" approach. Writers start out as clients and often become friends. You and your composition will be treated with respect.

Live Musicians: For the most part, things are done the old-fashioned way with real musicians playing real instruments, so your demo won't sound like it was made on an assembly line.

Quick Turn-Around: Turn-around is normally 3-4 weeks. If you need your demo sooner, just ask, and every attempt will be made to help you meet your deadline.

Discount For Rewrites: If you are familiar with the process of pitching songs to publishers and artists, it is not at all uncommon for them to request a lyric change. For that reason, a digital copy of your song and tracks are kept on file. If a line change is required and the original tracks can be used, you won't have to pay full price for a new demo.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: Songwriter's Demo Service is built primarily upon repeat customers. We want you to be happy!

In addition to demo production, Kevin has also served as producer on a number of projects and can help guide an artist through the recording process and become that all-important objective listener. He is very easy to work with and believes in helping the artists be who they are rather than using a "cookie cutter" approach. Contact Kevin for further information, production samples and prices.

Attention Songwriters!
The Craft And Business of Songwriting
By John Braheny

This is a book that I have recommended to my clients many times . Often, I come in contact with writers who have talent and enthusiasm, but don't have a clue about the music business. Just as often, I encounter writers who may also have talent and enthusiasm, but have not spent enough time learning the craft of songwriting. The Craft and Business of Songwriting addresses both aspects equally and comprehensively. Every songwriter, regardless of experience level, should own a copy of this book.

John Braheny is a name which is well-known and respected in the songwriting community. He is a successful songwriter and co-founder of the Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase (formerly The Alternative Chorus Songwriters Showcase, back in the day!) Most importantly, he has the heart of a teacher.
